No Pets Allowed

Deep Roots Festival is a No Pets Allowed event. While we at Deep Roots Festival are avid pet-lovers, incidents with pets at previous festivals have led us to prohibit pets. Service Animals are permitted.

Steak Cook-Off vs. BBQ Cook-Off

In 2021, the Deep Roots Festival BBQ Cook-off was officially discontinued. The Deep Roots Festival Steak Cook-Off is sanctioned by the national Steak Cook-Off Association and is open to anyone with the hubris to compete amongst their fellow neighbors. The Steak Cook-Off is a one-day event (as opposed to 3), requires less equipment (just bring your favorite grill), and is less expensive to enter. For more information visit here.

May I bring chairs to listen to the bands?

Yes, but please be prepared for the crowd size to increase as the evening progresses. The vast majority of concert attendees will be standing and blocking the views of those seated. For safety, chairs will be asked to be removed from the stage General Admission area around sunset.
