Deep Roots Festival 2026 is free to enter. Free admission includes the Artist Market, Open Car Show, Commercial Corridor, Food Truck Row, Tiny Tot Land, Kid Zone Vending Area, Pop-up Performances and the concert stage. KidZone Unlimited Pass ($10–$15) will require purchase.
The KidZone Unlimited Pass will be sold the day of Deep Roots Festival in the KidZone.
The Deep Roots Festival 2026 KidZone offers more jumps and climbs than ever before. While admission is free to most things Deep Roots, including the KidZone area, an Unlimited KidZone Pass must be purchased to experience the large collection of inflatables, rock climbing walls, trampoline sky bounce, and other featured rides. The KidZone Unlimited Pass will be available to purchase at Deep Roots Festival on Saturday, October 17 in the KidZone area for $10 (42" & Under) & $15 (Above 42") and will be valid from 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
Deep Roots Festival is located on the streets of Downtown Milledgeville, Georgia. Hancock Street, Wayne Street, Greene Street and Jefferson Street will be included in some of the street closures.
Hours of Operation: The Deep Roots Festival free admission "gates" open at 10 a.m. Most activities, excluding the Concert Stage and Food Truck Row, end at 6 p.m. The Concert Stage and Food Truck Row end approximately at 11:00 p.m.
Deep Roots Festival is a No Pets Allowed event. While we at Deep Roots Festival are avid pet-lovers, incidents with pets at previous festivals have led us to prohibit pets. Service Animals are permitted.
In 2021, the Deep Roots Festival BBQ Cook-off was officially discontinued. The Deep Roots Festival Steak Cook-Off is sanctioned by the national Steak Cook-Off Association and is open to anyone with the hubris to compete amongst their fellow neighbors. The Steak Cook-Off is a one-day event (as opposed to 3), requires less equipment (just bring your favorite grill), and is less expensive to enter. For more information visit here.
Yes, but please be prepared for the crowd size to increase as the evening progresses. The vast majority of concert attendees will be standing and blocking the views of those seated. For safety, chairs will be asked to be removed from the stage General Admission area around sunset.
