The Milledgeville Downtown Development Authority is a community driven organization developed to encourage economic development within the context of historic preservation in ways appropriate to today's marketplace. The Milledgeville Downtown Development Authority advocates to revitalize and redevelop the city's central business district with a vision of a vibrant and attractive destination for business, education, and community activity where people appreciate its rich history. Events held in the historic core promote the downtown area, attract visitors, and foster economic growth for the heart of the community.

Deep Roots Festival, through our 501(c)(3) organization Milledgeville In Motion, proudly makes an annual donation to the Milledgeville Downtown Development Authority. These funds support the 50/50 Façade Match Grant program as well as the Authority's general fund — both of which directly contribute to downtown revitalization and the success of our business district.
